Time to leave Sydney today (sniff sniff).
And after a few 'overweight baggage' issues, we munched on some lunch.
Sharing a yummy Iku desert from Aunty Kendall.
And Felix had loads of fun on his Trunki (with thanks to Nanna Carole).

Then it was onto the plane...
Bye bye Sydney!

Getting bigger.

Our baby girl started sitting up whilst we were in Australia.
Must have been after watching all the big kids at Lake Macquarie and realising she didn't want to miss out on things.
She has also taken a shine towards Sophie the Giraffe (she's great to chew on!) .
Poor little pet those teeth are really starting to push!

Our ritual.

Every morning whilst staying in Sydney we went for our breakfast at the outdoor cafe in the centre of Rushcutters Bay.
We'd snack on cheese and tomato toasties (or croque monsieur as Felix called them)
And have some great family fun together. It was just heavenly!

Mother's Day.
By chance we managed to be in Sydney for Mother's Day again this year.
And so Nanna Carole was able to share the day with her grandkiddies...
And her girls...

And the boys too (We missed you Uncle Jonno!)
So it was cuddles all round.
Especially from Uncle Barrie who is particularly fond of young Astrid.

Fitness junkie.
I don't know if it was the vast outdoor spaces, but Felix turned into a fitness freak in Sydney.
He just adored the outdoor gym at Rushcutters Bay. Up he climbed...
Over he went...
(with a little hiccup every now and then)
He worked on his balance...
With and without help.
And of course then there was the running.
And all whilst his little sister slept (seems to be a theme doesn't it!).

What's a girl to do?
What is a little 6 month old and her Mummy meant to do whilst the boys are asleep?
1. Play with toys...
2. Work those abs...
3. Chew on feet...
4. Stretch those fingers...
5. A spot of yoga...
6. Some lounging about...
Isn't life bliss for a 6 month old!

Daddy arrives to Rushcutters.
The best part of the holiday started today as Daddy arrived in from Paris.
Fresh off the plane we set out for a breaky al fresco at Rushcutters Bay.
And of course being Sydney it was a lovely autumn day with the sun shinning brightly.
The boys had lots of fun catching up...
And playing silly games.
Before they had a little match of football.
After some thinking from Felix, we had a stroll down by the water...
Although for a moment Felix was a bit perturbed as he couldn't find his bouncy ball...
...but soon enough he was distracted looking for fish in the harbour!
Needless to say by this stage Daddy was shattered so we set back home for lunch and a rather long snoooooze.

Aunty Ash.

Every little girl needs a special figure in her life and young Astrid's godmother is Aunty Ash (one of Mummy's closest friends). She has always been like a second godmother to Felix and so it is only fitting that she is that special person for Astrid. (Hope you like the picture Ash, I love it!)

Bronte.

Today we set off for Bronte to have a nice lunch by the ocean. Alas our dear Felix decided to have his biggest tantrum ever when Mummy took away his knife after he waved it too close to Aunty Kim.
After the drama settled (and the tears dried) we went for a play on the beach.

It was a little cloudy but all in all the perfect day as it wasn't too hot.

I think we all felt really invigorated afterwards to have a good dose of sea air (we'll us Parisians who rarely see the water).
