Felix can jump puddles.

It's been raining so much in Paris of late Felix has been getting good practise at puddle jumping.

Nothing beats hunting for a good size puddle on a wet afternoon.

(with the occasional moment of fatigue setting in)

So armed with our umbrellas we set off for home.

And fingers crossed there won't be too many protests about the lunchtime nap.

Rained out!

Saturday morning we set off for an Easter Egg hunt at the Arenes de Lutece in the 5th.

Alas by the time we arrived it started to pour with rain, so we opted for a Parisian café instead.

Felix kept an eye outside for the rain to stop ... and then gave up, deciding to enjoy his apple juice instead.

Astrid by this stage had woken up and enjoyed some cuddles with a weary Mummy...

And a weary looking Daddy (due to Astrid's middle of the night wakings).

Young Felix wasn't a happy little camper as the time the rain stopped the hunt was over.

See no rain!

Unless you count the drool from little Astrid's mouth.

Still no appearance of teeth (to Mummy's joy!) but boy does this baby girl dribble!

Nap protests.

This is the sight that met Mummy's eyes when she opened the door after Felix's 'supposed nap the other day.
Every toy that Felix owned was strewn on the floor. Ugg. Throw in a 5 month old who insists on being held because of her sore ear and given Felix's room had been spotless before, Mummy was not overjoyed. Hmmm ... maybe it's time to give up the naps and move to 'quiet time'. Needless to say it was a busy afternoon getting all those toys back in their place. But credit to Felix, he did it by himself with a few little instructions from Mummy.

Poor Pet!

Well it's been another tough week for young Astrid as she has another 'Otitte' or a burst ear drum. Poor litte pet, that make 3 so far. She was completely unconsolable yesterday and has been waking numerous times for the past few nights so this morning we went to see the doctor again to discover she has another burst drum. So we are off to see a specialist once this infection has cleared up. Hope everything is ok for the poor thing. Hmmmm....

Grassy Invalides.

It was a lovely balmy evening last Friday night which means spring is only just around the corner!

We went over to Bella's house so Felix could have a good play with her and Oscar before she set off for Australia.

There must have been something in the air as the kiddies just ran and ran up and down on the grass in front of Invalides.

Okay perhaps the
'sugar kick' from the lollypops helped just a little.

(Nothing like a lollypop on a Friday night is there Felix?)

It was a great evening and not a bad little backdrop huh?

Bon voyage Bella!!

Cheese, Vegemite & Pasta.

Mummy often asks the question "Felix, what would you like for lunch / dinner today?"

Depending on the time of the day, there is only ever one answer
...

"Cheese and Vegemite sandwich" or "Pasta".

Life is pretty simple for a 3 year old (and a Mummy if I took his advice!).

Red Hats.

A few weeks back ...

... Felix discovered a hat...

... that belongs to Daddy.

Truth be told, the hat looks better on Felix!

Sorry Daddy!

The Merry-Go-Round with Bella.

After another afternoon of fun at the playground at the Luxembourg Gardens with Bella, it was time for a ride on the Merry-Go-Round.

They both wanted to ride the horses ... Mummy had her eye on the cool looking giraffe!

Paris turned chilly!

It's turned cold in Paris - Cold and rainy - so we have been housebound.

Little Astrid's been toasty warm all bundled up into her little pink striped hoody.

Although those teeth are really starting to bug her now, fingers are constantly in the mouth! Poor thing.

I've been catching up on the Felix and Astrid photos ... so here they are in their glory!

Here's Astrid & Mummy!

Mummy doesn't make too many appearances on the blog these days (she's always hording the camera). Luckily Daddy stole the camera for a nanosecond and took a lovely photo of the girls together.
