Sunday evening (despite the chilly weather) we set off to buy our Christmas tree.
Felix chose a lovely tree with beautiful lush green branches, much bigger than last year's tree!
Of course we were all nicely rugged up ... but Daddy pulled the short straw and had to carry the tree back home (with some help from Felix).
What a strong Daddy!
Felix and Daddy 'unwrapped' the tree in the lounge room and we were all terribly happy*.
And of course Felix, (now being the expert tree decorator), wanted to dress the tree before dinner.
So dress the tree he did ...
... with some help from Mummy.
After a spot of cleaning up the fallen needles...
... it was time for some silliness with Daddy.
Those boys!
(*Note young Louis's interest in the tree, who later developed a 'Xmas Tree fetish' and kept chewing on the branches !

Wow Daddy looks a bit like Arnold Schwatzegener in the opening scenes of Commando - both stroll around casually carrying a tree on their shoulders.
Maybe one day I'll end up the governer of California...
Thankfully Commando Daddy seems to have replaced Gadafi, who has clearly left Paris with his bevy of beautiful bodyguards!!
Yes you do look like I am legend carrying the tree, but I think the angelic posing kind of counteracts it....too much fun!
